We support medical families through education and advocacy, provide fellowship for our members, and promote and support the health and well-being of families in our community. The Sarasota County Medical Alliance Foundation (SMAF) is the non-profit arm of SCMSA that promotes health education, identifies and addresses health care needs and issues, and supports health-related charitable endeavors in our community.

G.E.M.S. (Good Emergency Mother’s Substitute) Babysitting Course has been provided as a community service to Sarasota County annually since 1995.
Prescription drug abuse is an epidemic in America.
We provide resources to help combat this problem. These resources have included theatrical events, law enforcement presentations, as well as an information hand-out available on this web site.
We also provide scholarships for medical-related education.
Our efforts include scholarship support to LECOM and The Venice High School Medical Academy. Support these efforts with your holiday purchases through the Holiday Sharing Card.
